Toss the shrimp with the steak seasoning and cayenne pepper and set aside. If you want, you can add a little bit of olive oil to make the spices better adhere to the shrimp.

Add 1 – 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a skillet and allow to heat over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add your shrimp and sauté until cooked through. The shrimp should no longer be pink. Do not overcook, or the shrimp will be tough and chewy.

  • 1 pound of jumbo peeled and deveined shrimp, cut into bite sized pieces
  • ½ tablespoon of steak seasoning of your choice, I prefer McCormick’s
  • ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper, more or less to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Taco sized tortillas, warmed, you can use corn or flour
  • Taco toppings of your choice – lettuce, cilantro, tomatoes, sour cream, etc.
