The simple syrup for this recipe contains a hint of real maple syrup and gives a touch of rich maple taste without dominating the other flavors.

Sparkling juices are fizzy juices that have been carbonated. Natural carbonation is used in the most expensive sparkling juices. After a brief fermentation period to achieve natural carbonation, the juice is flash-pasteurized.

What are the ingredients?

With 20 minutes of prep time, you can already have this Sparkling Blueberry Maple Lemonade. For this recipe, you are going to need the following ingredients:

  • Fresh or frozen blueberries
  • Fresh mint, crushed
  • Real maple syrup
  • Honey
  • Water, divided
  • Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Club Soda
  • Ice cubes

Optional Garnish:

  • Mint sprigs
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Lemon wedges

What are the steps in making Sparkling Blueberry Maple Lemonade?

To prepare this recipe, you must combine the blueberries, mint, maple syrup, honey, and one-quarter cup of water in a small saucepan set over medium heat.

Then,  simmer until the mixture is heated through and thicken, approximately 4-5 minutes. As the mixture simmers, gently press the blueberries with a wooden spoon to release juices while stirring to combine with the other ingredients.

Next is to remove it from heat and pour it through a fine-mesh strainer to separate the solids. Reserve remaining liquid syrup and set aside to cool. 

Then, add lemon juice and remaining water to a large pitcher. Add blueberry maple simple syrup to taste, and stir to combine.

 Finally, fill four glasses with ice and fill each 2/3 full with the blueberry lemonade mixture. If desired, top off each glass with some club soda and garnish with sprigs of fresh mint, blueberries, and/or lemon wedges. Enjoy!
